Detailed billing rules
Conversation, image, and selection translation
These features share a free daily translation allowance of 30,000 characters. Usage beyond the allowance is billed at the standard price of US$1 per 35,000 characters.
Each message, image, or selection is calculated separately. The minimum billing unit is 350 characters, or US$0.01. Any partial unit is rounded up to 350 characters. Character counts are based on the source content submitted for translation.
The free daily allowance resets at 00:00 UTC. This is a limited-time offer available through December 31, 2026.
One-way simultaneous interpretation
The standard price is US$7.20 per hour. The minimum billing unit is 5 seconds, or US$0.01. Any partial unit is rounded up to 5 seconds.
Billing continues while speech recognition is active, even when no speech is detected. Pause interpretation when it is not in use.
Two-way simultaneous interpretation and meeting bot
The standard price is US$9.00 per hour. For two-way interpretation, the minimum billing unit is 4 seconds, or US$0.01. Any partial unit is rounded up to 4 seconds.

Audio translation
Audio translation follows the same billing rule as video translation mode 4. Charges are created when a video or audio translation task starts. If translation fails, the corresponding charge is refunded.
Document translation
Document translation is billed per page at a standard price of US$0.07 per page.
Phone translation
Phone translation includes a translation service charge and a telephone carrier charge:
| Charge | Standard billing rule |
|---|---|
| Translation service | Starts when the call connects and follows the two-way interpretation standard price of US$9.00 per hour. The minimum billing unit is 4 seconds, or US$0.01 |
| Telephone carrier | Calculated from the originating number, destination country or region, carrier rate, and actual call duration. Carrier charges are not eligible for any subscription-tier discount and are billed in full at the actual carrier cost |
Before a call starts, the system estimates the balance required for a 10-minute call. A call cannot start when the balance is insufficient. No translation service charge is created before the call connects. The final charge is based on connected translation time and carrier charges.
Usage records for one call may separately show “Phone translation - Translation fee” and “Phone translation - Phone fee.” The total call cost is the sum of both entries.
